While obviously the whole point is that you’re on show on your wedding day, there are ways to behave – and ways not to – if you don’t want to be remembered as a bridezilla.
We came across a great article on the UK Guardian’s website with tips on bride behaviour – nothing too heavy, kinda obvious when you think about it, but the sort of things that are so easy to forget in all the excitement. The tips are all done using photos too, which makes for really easy reading. How not to plan a wedding.
Meanwhile, here’s a quick low-down:
- Less is often best when it comes to the dress…
- If it really is less up top, remember to tape it all in place.
- Dance anyone? Consider lessons to show off in style for the First Dance; the man often really benefits from this.
- Food & drink – don’t slurp too much champers or eat like a little piggy. You’re on show, remember. And do say ‘hello’ to everyone. They did come to see you and your new husband, after all.
- Posing – try an over-the-shoulder pose. It always looks great.
- Lastly, smile and relax. Remember, this should be one of the happiest days of your life, so enjoy it.
